Role: UX and Visual Designer/Developer
2-week ad hoc design project for the Board Research Library's flagship product with the goal to modernize the user interface. As UX Designer, I conducted a heuristic evaluation and worked within the content management system's constraints to clean up and brighten the interface using HTML/CSS and Bootstrap and involving the client's technical representative along the way to gather feedback and factor in subject-matter expertise.

First iteration: color scheme change for more brightness, language tweaks for improved clarity and intuitive navigation, spacing adjustments using Bootstrap containers, and logo design using Adobe Illustrator and based on their existing brand.
Final iteration: color tweaks, icon design using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
